Photography

I grew up in a house with a lot of cameras and a darkroom for developing and printing black and white film. I no longer use film, but I do know many people with amazing artistry and fabulous technical skills with their cameras.

And now I have a place to show off some of their work. Many of the photographs on the site are taken by Stephanie Mitchell, Assistant Director of Photography at Harvard University. Her website (https://stephaniemitchell.com) is an absolute delight. Stephanie also takes pictures of her beautiful ceramic work. Consider yourself warned.

This series of pictures is from her 2008 trip to Iceland.
